Deepwater Horizon. Heady times here on FR, with a 24/7 live feed of the manifold leaking crude, and all of the different ideas being discussed among us on how best to cap the well, and how much environmental damage was really being done from such a deep leak when compared to the natural crude oil seepage that occurs in the Gulf.

Fun times.

Good article and one to take heed of indeed.

It is quite possible that an election will not stop the Deepwater moment because it has been brewing and building for too long now.

People can get out and vote but hope is all you have when the other side knows they will cheat to win and throw you in the gulag if you take any issue with it.

The real test for us is will we let them blow the valve again and if they do, what are we going to do about it.

We usually sit around and blame each other and let them get away with it barring a few who get prosecuted and punished for standing up.

Where did all the oil go? Had to cut off 10 inches of hair for a job interview. The cutter babe threw it in a 55 gallon drum which would be shipped to the gulf coast. She said hair soaks up oil better than anything else. I did my part.
