Is this their woke “Bud Light” moment?
There cannot be peaceful coexistence with ruling class leftists.
Because, by law, they cannot discriminate based on religion. But they can make a strong correlation between your religion and your potential political views (based on where you spend your money) and they can do it for your political views which is not illegal.
I had been a Bank of America customer for many years beginning in the mid-Seventies, coming to that by having my bank acquired by another bank, then again, then again until I was a Bank America customer.
But, hey...a bank is a bank is a bank, right?
Wrong.
We had all our finances in there, and as the 21st Century progressed and BOA started to appear at the forefront of aggressive, state-encouraged “wokeness”, specifically where firearms purchases were involved, I wanted to disengage from them and move to another, smaller, local bank.
But my wife didn’t see things the same way, so...I was unable to do anything. I needed her full approval and cooperation.
Then, we went down a couple of times onsite for various banking functions, and they got these brain-dead affirmative action hires who didn’t know their ass from their elbow and were not only incompetent, but had no customer service skills to boot.
After the last session, my wife was really angry when we left and suggested we should go to a smaller, local bank with better service, and I jumped right on that.
We were so deeply entrenched it took us 3-6 months do completely disengage and pull out ALL of our money, but boy, best thing we ever did.
BOA is a statist scum organization.
I started out with the excellent First National Bank of Fort Worth, which became Nations Bank and later Bank of America.
I retired and moved to Navarro county and the local B of A branch was sold to a small Kaufman based bank, Citizen’s National, which became Vera Bank.
I had a choice and decided to go with the new smaller bank and I’m glad I did.
I know banks do this, but has anyone ever heard of a credit union in the US doing this?
John Eastman’s debanking by USAA is causing my wife and I to change banks.
We’ve been with them since 1980.
Old Glory Bank is looking better by the day.
bkmk
I “debanked” FRom BoA in 1970!
Hated them then, hate them now!
The reason I “debanked” BoA in 1970 was they were crapping all over us middle-class customers and favoring their “richy-rich” customers.
They still are crapping all over their middle-class customers - I am surprised that any non-”rich-rich” person would even go near a BoA!
