The Kremlin said on Thursday that any new U.S. military aid for Ukraine would not change the situation at the front where Kyiv's forces were in a poor position and cast such aid as part of a "colonial" policy which enriched the United States.

-snip-

"Ukraine has to not only fight to provide profit for the Americans but it also has to fight to the last Ukrainian and is loaded up with debt," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. "The favourite colonial policy of the United States of America."

Peskov noted that "a very significant" part of the proposed aid would remain in the U.S. military-industrial complex.

"All experts and semi-experts can now see with the naked eye the situation on the front, which is far from favourable for the Ukrainian side, so this cannot change anything," Peskov said of the aid package.

Colonial. I like that word. It perfectly describes Ukraine as a pseudo colony of the US/UN.

That’s the “cauldron” we’ve been waiting for! You could have some fun digging up those old Bolshevik triumphalist day dreams from TWO YEARS ago. Pure fantasy. LOL.

Ukrainians fight for their borders, language and culture. Unlike, of course, keyboard warrior populists. None of them actually go to the border and defend it against invasion. They’re too busy demeaning and belittling Ukrainians who do. Maybe that’s why impotent populists hate them?

It is a war for markets. But unlike in the 19th century and early 20th, the market isn't the particular territories being fought over. It is the war itself.

Afghanistan, Ukraine and more. Same war.

Polish brigadier general Adam Marczak promoted to raspberry placki! Winning!

“I heard that General Raspberry Placki had only six seconds of warning before his promotion.”

Soon, The Russia will be planting a Russian Federation flag on the site where Marczak got promoted! It is to laugh!

Which means they have been and still are getting hammered for the little territory they have taken so far … and … they are very worried about getting their asses kicked all the way back to Russia once the resupply begins in earnest and the new weapon systems like the F-16s start arriving.

Gotta hand it to Putin for waking up the Europeans and getting them to re-arm themselves and Ukraine, also. He sure made NATO popular, too. Everybody wants to join now! Way to go, Vlad!

And for what special reason did he do all of this? Consider how Putin was riding the gravy train of a born anew Russia busy rebuilding itself as a good neighbor, competitor and consumer in the world market place, but that’s all gone now.

And next comes the bill for the checks his ego’s been writing, probably coming when Russia implodes again.

Putin’s overseeing decades of Russia’s economic and societal Boom! to broke and busted in less than a decade. That’s some legacy.
