True, I made my own back then. But now the articles coming out are on the chemicals and coatings, and 1 on what they think is water sprayed on certain fresh veggies. Is actually watered down Hand sanitizer. I tried to give a broad look at those issues.
I bought 1 orange, with that PEELZ coating, that will keep fruits fresh looking for a year. I scrubbed it with hot water, dish soap, and a scrub brush. Zested it, and juiced it. The juice tasted off. But oranges are not on my Type 2 diet, it had been a while since I had one. And people are complaining food tastes different. We both ended up with food poisoning. Hub can’t take anything, he has severe Glaucoma. We rode that one out, took 3 weeks.

It might force Congress to set levels, and not let imports exceed them. Babies have died from the heavy metals. And please stop the FRANKENFOOD. Since the GMO label was changed, items have shown up in our food we didn’t know were being hidden.

I’ve been suspicious of the coatings they put on food for some time now and always try to wash stuff off before consuming it.
