Three years ago, 28-year-old Blaisey Arnold entered a local auto dealership and came away with the keys to an $84,000 Chevy Tahoe.
But this month, the wedding photographer and mother shared a video to TikTok describing how she was forced to sell her dream car.

What a financial dumbass. The car dealer and financier did not point a gun to her head and told her to spend $83 k on a car. I would think her husband would have a say in such an extravagant expense. Also she could have tried to refinance the loan if she thought the interest rate was too high. I have a feeling this family is headed to bankruptcy.

I guess spending half that amount or less on day a minivan is asking too much. It is all about the bling.

OTOH, if that’s been the only ‘hoe in her house, she’s still better off than a lot of other household people.

You don’t borrow for an 84k car. People who can afford that car pay cash. Ditto a 5 mil house

"... wedding photographer ..." All she had to do was claim she only did LGBTQ* weddings, and the donations would be rolling in.

I financed a car in 2020, I’m almost done paying it off. Of course when I do, Biden will ban all gas powered cars.

I might spend $84 k lifetime on my personal car. I get a cheap reliable car and drive it till it drops dead.

Not only did she not make a down payment, she said she traded in a previous car on which she had fallen into negative equity.
If the best interest rate she can get is over 10%, she must have a bad credit score. If she’s making decent money as a wedding photographer, it might make some sense for her to have a vehicle like that since some of it can be written off as a business expense, but I’m guessing she’s way over-extended already.

Try spending less than an 1/8th of that for a reliable used vehicle.
