U.S. Pledges to Defend Israel in Case of Iranian Attack

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin called his Israeli counterpart Yoav Gallant late Thursday, to reassure him Washington would defend its closest ally in the region if Tehran struck on its soil. Austin told Gallant “Israel could count on full U.S. support to defend Israel against Iranian attacks, which Tehran has publicly threatened,” a Pentagon spokesman said.

“Israel could count on full U.S. support to defend Israel against Iranian attacks..."

That pledge is worth absolutely nothing.

And the Islamic government leaders know this. So do the Israeli leaders. It is a cynical attempt to reassure the US Jewish population so they will continue to rationalize their support for Democrats. And continue their campaign contributions to Democrats.

This does not go well for the Jews - or anybody else really. I guess when we all said, "Never Again"(tm) we did not really mean it.

Didn’t we also pledge to defend Ukraine in case of attack by Russia, if they would only give up all those dangerous Soviet nukes? Boy what a mistake by the Ukes.
