The eclipse was indeed a sight to see.

GSC - how was the traffic?

“The eclipse was indeed a sight to see.”

A real big nothingburger here in York, PA. Didn’t even get dark.

Oh.boy....what a day! Went up to Magog,Quebec (about 20 miles north of the Vermont border). Parking was horrible...but I found a space. Not a cloud in the sky! About 5 minutes before totality I realized that I had left my special glasses at home but I did, against all advice, look up very quickly (fraction of a second) during totality. I'm seeing my retina specialist next week..I wonder what she'll have to say. Amazing and humbling! Luckily I got a pretty good video of totality.

Traffic going up was much better than I expected (I-91 to the border).Going back...worst traffic I've ever seen. Left Magog at about 4PM...got home just after 4AM.

A once in a lifetime experience. Glad I did it. If it happens again...in my neighborhood I'll absolutely look up. But a 12 hour drive? No thanks!
