On April 8, for precisely four minutes and 27 seconds, the moon will pass in front of the sun blocking out all light — a total solar eclipse.
The last time this kind of galactic display occurred was in 2017, and although eclipses like this do happen once every 18 months or so, they're usually not visible to people on land.
Of course, what would a global scientific wonder be without an appropriate accompanying playlist? Below, we've laid out 30 Eclipse Songs to jam out to while the moon does its thing.

He was a performance artist. He created a 'retro-futuristic' persona.
When I was searching youtube for that song, I watched his other videos. I was reading some of the comments from people who say they met him and they all say he was an incredibly nice guy.
More people know about Klaus, because of Rush Limbaugh.
during the gay news segment of his show - which would now probably take up the full 3 hours, that's how quick things change.
people of the sun - the grouch & eligh
sunrise - uriah heep
While Rush mocked Klaus, I suspect he had a certain admiration for his talent and originality. Showmen always respect other good showmen.
I take that song as America to YESHUA.
Didn’t he use “My Boy Lollipop” for his “Barney Frank Updates”?
Sounds vaguely familiar. 1970s again?
Ah the memories, humor laced issues points are winners every time.
No sir, that is you. With your one word proclamation that my statement was "ridiculous".
To which I followed with saying your response is your opinion, and that I respect the right for you to express your opinion, but don't expect me to adopt your opinion, because that is not going to happen.
You responded with a bunch of nonsense that I was perhaps supporting the shipment of 7 billion people around the world for such life-changing events.
That statement is the classic example of being beyond silly.
Mainly because you have chosen to insert things I never said. Because you took worlds that I said & extrapolating words I didn't say as perhaps trying to say that was what I was saying.
I never said it was a life changing event, and I wouldn't because I saw it, it changed nothing in my world or the world at large that I noticed.
I could have included, the words if afforded the opportunity, but I didn't because I really didn't see the need to add that in. I have no issue for those who want to have bragging rights to be able to state they saw it. Stupidity abounds in the world. If they think that makes them special I could care less. For I know the truth that it doesn't make them anything different than who they are.
It is an awesome event to witness though, in my opinion, regardless of your opinion. It has nothing to do with bragging rights whatsoever.
You are the one who is trying to make bragging rights as the reason why people go to see it. Those choosing to do so for that reason only are an insignificant percentage in reality.
For many, it's because they are located in close enough proximity to go see the event for their own life enrichment.
Some even come away with the feeling that it was more of a hype as far as they were concerned. Perhaps they thought it was going to be some life changing event, when it really is just an astronomical event that is an experience to witness.
Does that clear it up for you? I actually do not care if it does or doesn't. It's just not that important.
However, in terms of there being more important things occurring that deserve more attention, you & I are in total agreement on that topic.
That is why I tell people that they need to wake up, because our nation is facing the biggest crisis of its existence right now. The threats to this nation are both internal & external, and ignoring them in the hopes of them going away is not an option we should pursue. We need to start uniting to fight back against what is happening, starting with reelecting Donald John Trump & dumping Joe Biden. But it doesn't end there, there is still much that needs to happen after returning Trump to the White House.
But I won't go into all that in this thread.
You started by trying to counter my opinion—and now are having to dig hard to try to justify it.
Take your silly glasses off and step back from the “big” event.
1987.

And a parody card in the “Illuminati: New World Order” card game of the late 1980s. . .

I do see the big picture, and your answer proves that you didn't read my entire response, which bother me not in the least. But had you read it you would have seen that I touched on the bigger picture as well.
