might I just point out that almost every “Florida Man” is from another state....so....there’s that.
The Polk County Sheriff wants the world to know, Don’t come to this county and expect to get away with your crime. His youtubes are a good public service message. He recommends people deal with home invasion, now called Squatting, with their own firearms and not wait for bad things to happen.
As to this Med Student stabbing his mother to death, and then calling 911, I think a full tox screen is indicated along with his psychiatric anti-depressant med list. Suicidal/homicidal ideation are top side effx. We never get the “rest of the story” any more. Like the young man in PA killing his ex-girlfriend,sister and step mother and then drives away to another city in a stolen car and walks the neighborhood unarmed like nothing happened, arrested without further incident. 3 weeks ago, and nothing more about the case. Bizarro.
