Rock Hill, SC (March 29, 2024) – The American Cornhole League (ACL) is pleased to announce that it has signed a new two-year agreement with ESPN to continue broadcasting cornhole on ESPN’s platforms in 2024 and 2025. The first event of the new season will be the ACL Kickoff Battle 1 airing on ESPN+ from April 4th through April 7th.
After signing an initial deal in 2016, fans have embraced the thriving sport, with enthusiasts and pros across the country picking up their cornhole bags in part due to the spotlight ESPN has lent the sport. The new agreement includes exclusive rights to the ACL Pro Cornhole Series, SuperHole, and ACL College/High School, as well as non-exclusive rights to the ACL Open Series. ESPN will distribute over 300 hours of ACL events per year across its linear television and digital networks, the largest total amount of content ever as part of the relationship.

“Hey, Peter. Watch your corn hole.”
What’s next ESPN? Tic-tac-toe championships? Maybe hopscotch or foursquare? What about musical chairs finals or pin the tail on the donkey?
No wonder no one watches ESPN unless their team is on.
In my backyard the non-throwing hand must be holding a beer.
Everything else is. Why not that too?
“I guess we have digressed from bowling balls to bean bags.”
Pretty sure there’s corn kernels in the bags not beans.
I left my cornhole bags out in the rain and they sprouted.
Oh...
That's what they're talking about? I thought... Oh nevermind.
Bahahahahah for the same audience as fake wrestling lol 😆
I guess “cornhole” is a term with more than one meaning.
That must be it.
I watched a bit of a pro cornhole tournament while eating in a restaurant that had it on TV. It was kind of amazing - they rarely missed.
