It’s real. I have never been an addict of any kind and thus can’t understand it. I suspect what this addict says about Kush might be similiar to what addicts of other drugs say:
“Groups of mostly young men sitting on street corners with limbs swollen by kush abuse is a common sight in Sierra Leone. With a bandage around his ankle, one recovering addict told the BBC the drug has a tight grip on him.
“I don’t like doing this, but I cannot leave it because I enjoy it,” he said.”

Me, either.
My neighbor has smoked since she was 14 — is 75 now.
Two years ago she had one leg amputated above the knee.
Last year the other one was amputated above the knee.
It’s from something called Buerger’s Disease, caused by smoking.
Last year was diagnosed with lung cancer. Went through chemo.
Last month was diagnosed with liver cancer. Started chemo yesterday.
Other neighbors see her on the back screen porch, still smoking. During the blizzard this winter, there she was, huddled up and smoking.
I don’t get it.
