If you’ve been watching television or tracking trending topics over the last few weeks, you’ve probably seen or read something about “white rural rage.” This is owed to the publication of a new book, White Rural Rage, by Tom Schaller and Paul Waldman, whose thesis is that white rural Americans, despite representing just 16 percent of the American electorate, are a “threat to the world’s oldest constitutional democracy.”

America’s Ruling Class by Angelo Codevilla
And
The Vision of the Anointed: Self-Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy by Thomas Sowell
And I might add for the political operatives: reading those items in order to figure out how to “fake it” won’t help.
Schaller and Waldman, sons of the Heartland.
The Atlantic is also attacking it.
An Utterly Misleading Book About Rural America

We don’t need no rural people! We’ll just get our food from China!
Plenty of delicious rats and cockroaches in NYC.
Don’t know how nutritious the bedbugs are though.
The Marxists are working themselves up to attempting the mass murder of conservative, patriotic, nationalistic Americans.
Is the follow-up book going to be titled “Black Urban Rage”?
If you avoid any articles about President Trump (which are chock full of insane TDS) the Atlantic is about as reasonable as lefties can get.
The Pali protestors have really scared them—once they realized that hard core leftists are going after Jews it freaked them out....
White rural Americans are the ones who made the difference during the Revolution. Just saying...
I used to read everything and to me the Atlantic would have at least one truly great article a year where for some reason it would be almost entirely free of bias and just a well written article full of great information on an important topic.
Even a city boy like me gets why this is a bad idea.
Even if farmers are not "our sort" old boy.
The ruling class always used to get it, even while robbing farmers.
Yup
It drives the fuggin’ urban thugs, thieves, killers, rapists, drug addicts, driveby shooters and morons over the edge when Jason Aldean sings “Try That In A Small Town”. Obviously, city thugs have a different opinion of themselves and see themselves a lot differently than the rest of the world does.
I think the article in Politico is correct in that it’s not rural rage, it’s rural resentment. Those are two different things.
Of course, the leftists want to define it as rage so they can gather enough people who would like to kill the rural way of life.
If they succeed, it will be to their own peril.
That's pretty much the case. Who do they think is going to do their dirty work for them? Then they get to learn about asymmetric warfare.
Yes.
I wonder where these two fairies, Tommy and Pauly, got that 16% figure. Vanity Fair? Esquire? Vogue?
Don’t F-— with Farmers.
Not rage. More disgust than anything.
