In April 2016 I wrote an article titled, “Donald Trump is Not Your Protector: A Warning to Conservative Christians.” It began with a strong word of caution: “Donald Trump has presented himself as a protector of conservative Christians and as the best friend Christians will ever have. He has held up his mother’s Bible and pledged to bring Christ back into Christmas. But when the rubber meets the road, he is anything but the defender of conservative Christians and their values.”
It ended with an even stronger caution: “If you’re a Trump supporter, you might say, ‘I know he’s not a Christian and I don’t even think he’s a real conservative, but I’m voting for him because I believe he’s the best man to fix our economy and protect our borders.’

Obviously biden is the Christian for you.
This guy is really negative. Probably infected with a bit of TDS.
Well, there’s Trump or there’s Satan - you pick.
Where do we find these idiots?
Looking back now, in some ways, I was clearly wrong about Trump. He kept his word on many essential promises, he kept his door open to evangelical leaders, and he stood up for many issues of importance to us. He did not simply use us to get elected and then discard us, as I feared he would.
The “press” dances to one tune a week which is set by the Dem party apparatus. This week it has been the dangers of Christians who are Trump supporters supported by some leftist nobodies who make a living out of liberal Christianity (take a look at how many members these denominations have lost). They all sing off the same stained song sheet that really has nothing to do with the Gospel.
But in no way should you look to him to lead the way in bringing about the moral or cultural transformation of our nation, let alone the spiritual transformation.
True Christians don’t pick their battles strategically. They find the most contentious hill to die on and lose everything else they held dear in the process.

I agree, but I would vote for Satan before I would vote for Biden.
John 8:7 -—
So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. KJV
When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” NIV
They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” NLT
No matter the “language” -— that about sums it up right there . . .
I understand this guy and agree to a certain extent. There are too many Chrisitians that think “if we just elect the right guys things will be ok.”. They won’t. This is Satan’s world. The world we look for wont happen until Christ returns.
Right or wrong, Trump managed to get Roe V. Wade overturned. And, Pro Life Christians sat home on their butts while Abortionists passed 9 different state initiative expanding abortions.
Get off your asses and out of the pews!

YOU are given a short sword and other tools as stated for close in fighting. What hill are YOU dying on? What are YOU willing to lose in the fight? Have you risked your job, your wealth, your freedom? Have you even offended anyone for the right reasons?
Or is that opinion for others?
Probably influenced by women in his life.
The question is, will you elect someone who is actively issuing executive orders to mandate immorality and negative cultural degradation, or someone who isn’t going to do that?
And the answer is clear.
Trump may not be the solution-that will need to be us in the end.
But Trump won’t be the problem like Biden and his administration are now.
On reflection, the most amazing thing to me is that Christians expect a magic bullet to fix everything. They expect Trump to be a Messiah. I sure don’t.
It is going to take a generation to change things. We change the culture one on one with a short sword.
I guess we should go for a good Christian man like Jimmy Carter or W Bush./s
Lots of so called Christian leaders out there who loudly and publicly demonstrate how pious they are. They make sure you know!
Then there is Donald Trump. I see his witness in his life. He is generous, he raised good kids who love him, all the other presidents talked, but HE moved our embassy to Jerusalem and got Roe overturned. When the communists tried to burn St Johns Church in DC, he forced our military leaders to accompany him (against their will) and he walked into the chaos to walk over and hold up a Bible, standing against BLM/Antifa. Most of all, he is not hostile to Christianity.
He isn’t the kind of guy who can quote you his favorite Bible verse on command at gotcha interviews. But those clowns vanish when there is trouble. But Trump steps up.
That man could have lived out his life in billionaire comfort and fame, with no problems whatsoever.
But he stepped into the fight and is using the last two decades of his life fighting for traditional Christian America.
I looked up Matthew 19:21
“Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
Trump is a damn sight closer to that than any other politician I know of.
“We cannot spare this man Trump, he fights!”
Hat tip to President Lincoln.
