As a Christian, I find a “non-secular prayer to ‘Mama Earth’ and to our ‘ancestors’” extremely offensive. ‘Mama Earth’ amounts to a pagan god to whom Christians in this travesty are expected to offer prayers. Same with ancestor worship. Offering prayers to an entity is an act of worship and Christians worship God alone. There is nothing non-secular about it.
