One US diplomat’s wife in Havana heard crickets en masse at night. She recorded the sound. She and several others started reporting symptoms and got “sick”. They were medically retired and compensated. It quickly spread like wildfire though the State Department. By the way, she recorded the sound of the microwave weapon. You can’t make a recording of microwaves and ultrasound.

An engineering study concluded it was a mass hysteria.
