Whomever planned March Madness Basketball Playoffs on Easter Weekend and on 4/8 Eclipse should be FIRED!!!
Why?
Prioritize.
First world problems
Ratings have been declining for years.
The scheduling this year may have been done to cover for more bad ratings.
Why worry? I wouldn’t be going to one of those playoffs if THEY paid ME.
No dilemma for me, but then I never watch hoopball.

The eclipse will be mid afternoon, the basketball in the evening.

I couldn’t name one college bb player at any college, let alone the ones in the tournament; except for the Clark girl at Iowa. And that’s because when I log out of my yahooz mail, I sometimes scan the homepage stories. The sports media has really been hyping that girl.

Umm, March Madness has been March Madness for decades. Sometimes other things happen during it. Not exactly news, or they’re fault. Especially the eclipse. Why would they give a crap about something happening on a tuesday?
If I had the money, I’d be spending the weekend in Cleveland (women’s finals) through Tuesday.
Both are on Monday 4/8/24
