New York Governor Kathy Hochul was asked to leave the wake for murdered NYPD officer Jonathan Diller on Friday afternoon, according to reports.
Hochul walked away as she was confronted by an unknown person after spending only ten minutes at the Massapequa Funeral Home on Long Island, the New York Post reported.
The governor was scheduled to pay her respects on the second day of viewings for Diller, a New York Police Department officer who was allegedly shot and killed by suspect Guy Rivera, 34, on Monday evening.
After Hochul arrived at the funeral home around 1.45 pm on Friday, a person from the crowd shouted, 'Get her outta here,' law enforcement sources told the Post.
Hochul has been criticized for her soft-on-crime policies and controversial bail reform laws since Diller's death, as it's been revealed that Rivera had at least 21 prior arrests, including nine felonies.
Rivera was charged on Thursday with first-degree murder of Diller and attempted murder for aiming his gun at a second police officer.
Lindy Jones, 41, who was charged with a number of gun crimes in connection with the shooting, was arrested on a gun charge last spring and had spent time in prison for attempted murder.
According to police sources who spoke to the Post, Hochul was confronted by a man in a black suit on her way to the car.
Photos and videos from the outlet capture the man furiously speaking to the governor and pointing to the crowd.
When Hochul walked away, several officers waiting outside the funeral home can be heard clapping.
Hochul's appearance at the wake comes a day after she directed flags on all state buildings to be flown at half-staff in honor of Diller on March 30, the day of his funeral services.

Imagine being so self-absorbed and tone deaf to even walk into the wake.
She deserves this. She is a cold, heartless witch (with a different initial letter).

Elected officials should not attend private functions unless they have asked the family if it is okay for them to attend. Several times I’ve seen officials essentially working the room for political purposes. That is not an ethical thing to do. And, if they do attend, working the room as if it’s a political event is bad form, to say the least.

Officer Diller won’t be able to leave the funeral without bail.
Too bad she didn’t have to walk home alone.
She should, but it seems this what NY wants. A criminal who can commit as many crimes as he wants without accountability will commit more crimes. They learn this at school, where truancy and delinquency go unpunished. Most probably learn it at home as well, without a father to keep them in line. But call a man in a dress a man, and they want to lock you up.
At least Trump paid off his mortgage.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some rabid Democrat who’s part of the New York State government takes the video and identifies the guy, then doxxes himm.
I also wouldn’t be surprised if the State Patrol showed up at his door at 2 o’clock in the morning to arrest him on some fake charge. Because he made the governor look bad.

This clearly demonstrates how “out of touch” Democrat handlers are with the base surrounding them. Some Gen-Z person thought it would be a real coup for her to be there, just like Trump. (Wrong!).

I’m no fan of hers, but, at least she showed up, unlike joe, hussein and bubba and whoever asked her to leave had every right to ask hochul to leave, it’s because of her policies that this officer is dead.
What about Trump going? Does that blanket statement apply to him?
