This practice is called “burrowing,” turning political actors into permanent assets for the Democrat elite under the cover of being just “bureaucrats.”

So, how does the Trump administration fire these "burrowed" democrat operatives? Why aren't the republicans in Congress challenging this practice in court - now?

From what I understand, this ‘burrowing’ is allowed by law. Clinton did it in a massive way as he left office. The reason for doing it is because these people are almost impossible to fire by the next administration(s).

You ask a good question. But I wonder if Trump fired Gorka’s predecessor?

It does seem to be a common practice to exorcise staff from a previous administration
