Not much closer. His arm is close to his waist and holding the belly fin in his hand. If photoshopped, they added some shadow on the fin next to his fingers.

Ha! Hay hooks are only about a pound or two. I used hay hooks a LOT in my 25+ years of ‘racking bales’ on hayracks. Used them in the barn too.
