No, something happened on that ship (power outage plus possible fire) that disabled the rudder. If it had been terrorism, it wouldn’t have happened at 1:30 am with one lane shut down for construction. Thank God for that.
But now they know how to cripple our other bridges… easily.

Don’t dismiss terrorism so quickly.
Maybe the ship’s computers were hacked, maybe this was the ship they had and had to use it, regardless of time, maybe a large number of civilian deaths wasn’t their objective.
