Religious leaders in Boston have demanded 'white churches' give millions of dollars in reparations to the city's black community.
The activist clergy also called on them to back a push for the City of Boston to pay $15 billion in reparations for its historical role in the slave trade.
The event at Resurrection Lutheran Church was organized by the Boston People's Reparations Commission, which made the $15 billion demand.

Good post..!!
Pronto.
there seems to be an OR ELSE quality in that request.
I recall someone making the observation that true reparation calculation would involve calculating the income the enslaved and their descendants would have earned in Africa
MINUS
what they earned in America.
Thus coming up with a massively negative number.
Congregationalists that merged with Unitarian Universalists are the leftist bane in new england.
white churches - sounds racist
how reparations for family members who died to secure there constitutional right to be free
Marxist leftists have made sure that no one receives a decent education in history as well as other subjects.
So they sound like the ignorant fools that they are to anyone with an education
and sound just right to others who are equally handicapped.
They should be defrocked, tarred and feathered and run out of town in a rail.
If I recall correctly, the first Massachusetts state constitution outlawed slavery.
Damn straight! Pay up, liberals!
I think every state back then had slavery to a degree.
They were part of the Union.
They should pay for defending blacks?
And what do churches have to do with it? Why are they answerable?
I do not believe any church in Boston, or the city of Boston has ever owned slaves. I also believe that any person who was held as a slave, should receive respirations directly from those that held them. Please present your evidence of being a slave. Not a decent, an actual slave.
They can suck a big fat one.
How many of Boston’s White sons died fighting to “Preserve the Union” in 1861-1865? Blood sacrifice not enough for them? And how many Black Bostonians were even slaves at that time?
And mark my words.....once you pay the ranson/protection money they will continue to keep hitting you up for more.
Blacks also owned slaves. The first slave owner in the colonies was a black man. My ancestor fought for the north and paid for it with blood.
Will they take canned soup from my pantry instead? I have 4 cans of tomato lentil soup I bought on a lark years ago that is no longer sold and should hold a “reparationee” for a couple of days.
Lutheran church. Lol. Not biblical or real.
I would agree to reparations to any living former slave. Not their great great great great great great grandchildren.
