Religious leaders in Boston have demanded 'white churches' give millions of dollars in reparations to the city's black community.
The activist clergy also called on them to back a push for the City of Boston to pay $15 billion in reparations for its historical role in the slave trade.
The event at Resurrection Lutheran Church was organized by the Boston People's Reparations Commission, which made the $15 billion demand.

If a church identifies as “white” then I’d say that church is racist. Just as if a church identifies as a black church.

There are plenty of cemeteries in northern Illinois filled with graves marked with 17 to 20-year old boys who died in the Civil War. And I am sure that is true all across the country, at least east of the Mississippi.
The racism business will never go out of business as long as there are buyers for the rhetoric.

Juneteenth was just the day the slaves in the Galveston area learned that slavery was finished because the war had ended (1865 not 1866). Slavery officially ended everywhere in the US in December 1865 with the adoption of the 13th amendment.
Massachusetts was one of the first states in the Union to abolish slavery. A large part of its white population is descended from immigrants (Irish, Italian, Portuguese, etc.) who came to America long after Massachusetts had abolished slavery--or even after the US as a whole had ended slavery.
Even in the South the large plantation owners were a tiny fraction of the white population. Whites whose families have been here since colonial times might have an ancestor or two way back who owned one or more slaves, but none of their current wealth comes from those remote ancestors.

Massachusetts had 0 slaves as far back as 1790 because the Massachusetts court said that slavery violated the principles of the U.S. Constitution.
