Whoa.... different critters. Dixon is a Charles Bronson type of brutish hero. Bond is supposed to be eye candy. Andrew Lincoln would make a better James Bond, I think... as long as he is clean-shaven, that is. I don’t like him with that beard.

Doesn’t matter one way or another - the Bond franchise has long lost its charm and has run its course. It’s just an endless fireworks of special effects and stunts now. Boring after 5 minutes.
If anything, they should be concentrating on new writing and directing talent.
