Heartbreaking. Prayers for the family.
When stories like this always have a ‘teen’ involved, I hope it is instructive for the safety of yourself and those you care for. We should be tough on crime, and ‘teens’ willing to go this far should never see life beyond cell ever again.
Here in Seattle there was a 15-year old “teen” that attempted to carjack a guy (white 28 year-old). The “teen” shot the guy and he is now blind in one eye.
The “teen” had a warrant out for a felony committed in December 2023. However, since it had been an entire two months since that previous felony, the teen was released to his mother on “house arrest” for some short period of time.
Hopefully the judges in Missouri have more sense than the judges in Seattle.
