I don’t think she deserves the charge she was convicted of, she deserves something for sure, just not this. On the other hand, Alec Baldwin definitely deserves to be convicted and sent to prison, HE PULLED THE TRIGGER.

My 357 Magnum is very similar, and it is Impossible to accidentally pull the trigger and have it fire, even with the hammer cocked, it takes effort.

It was a single action Colt-style of firearm, and if you hold the trigger back as you thumb the hammer, when you let go of the hammer it will fly forward, unlike most modern double action revolvers.

Baldwin probably had his booger hooker on the bang switch, and when he strained to thumb back the heavy hammer he probably squeezed his whole hand and pulled the trigger and held it back.

Holding the trigger and repeatedly pulling back the hammer and letting go is how cowboys would "fan" their revolvers.

There was a video of a few scenes of Alec on the set...He acts crazy with the guns...I mean nutso...like they're toys.
