She is still employed by the CIA as are numerous Amassadors, political cone, counselor cone, IT Specialists, etc. Nyland will leave the sister agency but remain at Langley where she started.

“Who cares? Keep your grubby mitts out of my bank account, Ukie”

Unfortunately for you, the situation isn't that simple and military intelligence experts decided otherwise. There maybe greater savings overall if Russia get their ass handed to them even harder than Ukies will do alone. Like when USSR collapsed after we sent a few crates of rockets to Afghanistan and the USA economy boomed shortly after...

Demeaning Ukrainians who fight and die (unlike keyboard warrior populists) to defend their borders, language and culture is certainly empty and devoid of humanity. Those who have invested so much in a fantasy world will never understand this “reality”, obviously.

https://sonar21.com/what-did-the-cia-know-and-when-did-it-know-it/

The West is caught in its own trap. Russia reactivated a moribund defense industry and is cranking out ammunition, shells, missiles, rockets, artillery, tanks, drones and combat vehicles at a rate the West cannot match. Instead of demonstrating Western superiority, the NATO alliance has been exposed as fractious, impotent lot. The defeat of Ukraine will force the United States and NATO to make a choice — escalate the war with Russia and risk a nuclear conflagration or find a diplomatic off-ramp. While the current rhetoric among many NATO members is bellicose, with France’s Macron trying to whip up support for joining the fight against Russia, the divisions in Europe are growing. Germany certainly is no longer enthusiastic about signing on to France’s suicide mission.

The key to the end of the war resides in Washington, DC. It is an election year and the electorate has no stomach for a direct military confrontation with Russia. Then there is the fact that the Biden Administration is more focused on the war between Israel and the Palestinians, the Houthi closure of the Red Sea and the fear that China will move against Taiwan. There is no good, clean, obvious exit plan for the U.S. to end its support of the proxy war with Russia. The best that the Biden team can hope for is that Ukraine’s Zelensky is overthrown and a new Ukrainian government decides to seek peace with Moscow. At that point, Biden can shrug his shoulders and say, “We tried” and then walk away. That is the outcome I’m hoping for.

Ukraine and Russia’s other neighbors wanting their own borders, languages and cultures separate from the filthy Russian World is an “empty slogan”? Interestingly, that is exactly what Marxist Democrats say about American conservatives. MAGA in particular. So if there is something “empty” here it must be what is between your ears.

When people like this vile, warmongering, neocon witch Nuland are confined to their basements, living in fear of their lives, the world will be a more peaceful place. She and her family of fellow warmongers should be dragged off to Gitmo and then tried for crimes against humanity. Better yet, air drop the bloated pig into a Youke town which lost its sons and fathers and see how long she lasts. That would be most fitting.

You are obsessed with telling the Ukrainians to lay down their arms to stop the killing, yet never to tell Putin to stop the killing that he started.

Modification of the phrase, if Ukraine laid down their arms today they would cease to exist, of russia laid down their arms there would be peace.

What is my straw man?
Was the cia involved in the change of govt in Ukraine, more than likely. Has Russia likewise been involved in the politics of other countries, yes most recently in Africa and Moldova. Many political parties in the west and other countries get funding from Russia.

As to the election and change of direction…

When Ukraine voted in 91 to become independent all oblasts voted in a majority to do so including Donbas and Crimea.
The leader of Ukraine switched from pro EU, to pro Russian and the people protested. Then there was the shooting of protestors and finally he fled not to France, England or USA but to Russia.
Then there was a vote and zelenski was elected and Russia invaded the oblasts in 2014, no I was not an internal uprising as has been admitted by Russia

Finally either sensing weakness based on tepid response to 2014 invasion, Afghanistan debacle…. Or desperation on putins part seeing his dreams of a greater Russia slipping away he invaded Ukraine

Either way this is all on Putin

To: Veto!

For all those who claim straw man arguments this has to be one at the top
We can support Ukraine and clean up our border and illegal
Immigration at the same time.
The illegal immigration and open border issues existed long before Russia invaded Ukraine. Money is not the issue, enforcing the law is the issue. Trump proved that was not only possible, but being accomplished, all before Russia invaded.
Politics as it stands right now, if we sent 100 billion to the border the only result would be nicer phones and bigger debit cards for illegals.

Sending munitions and equipment like abrams, atacms, glsdbs, Bradleys…. Is not weakening our border response(though I would not be opposed to sending these to the border…), politics is

We will disagree that is fine, just my 2 cents
