Thanks for the detailed responses.
I’m surprised someone that many people removed from the throne draws news…
Lots of Royal health news recently. Cancers, etc.
Jacob Rothschield died.
Resident of London and an international financier like Kingston.
A confluence of “mal chance”?
No such thing as coincidences?
Although she's one of dozens of 'minor' relatives, she's actually close to all of the big names in the Firm.
Turns out that news of her husband's death came to the family just ahead of the big memorial that had been planned for 'King' Constantine who died last year.
I don't usually have any reason to pay mind to royalty news, but strange things have been afoot since the death of QEII. Who can escape it? There's King Charles' cancer, the mysterious 'abdominal surgery' and condition of the Princess of Wales.. and then William cancelled out of the memorial at the last minute.
And of course there's been Harry's many "issues", Andy..
It's as if it's all coming apart at the seams.
"Constantine was the godfather of William, who called the Greek royal family to apologise. The Prince was due to read from Revelation 21:1-7, a popular reading for funerals that begins 'then I saw a new heaven and a new earth'."
>>>
"Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams described the Prince of Wales' cancellation as 'very strange', especially because the heir to the throne was due to give a reading"
A lot of Americans are obsessed with the British royal family and always have been. I was once reading some newspapers on microfilm from the early 1820s (looking for an obituary of an ancestor) and a lot of the “news” was rumors about the ongoing scandals in the British royal family at the time.
