There are natural forms of IVF that involve harvesting one viable egg which the female would have produced naturally.

There’s also artificial insemination.

(Porn is probably useful in either procedure.)

I personally have no problem with porn. It does not lead to bad behaviors. Quite frankly, I think for most part it allows the relief of sexual tension without having to seek out live paid sexual partners.

It doesn’t involve ‘killing’. It “takes”, or it doesn’t - just as happens naturally among humans all the time.

And as I said, artificial insemination doesn’t ‘kill’, either.

The article is about banning porn as an aid to that kind of process; and the very strange marriage of feminist notions and almost religious fundamentalist ideas about sex, which are suggesting such banning.

Hardly any IVF clinic or client will do the extraction of one egg. It’s too costly for such a low success rate. 99.999% of IVF involves killing multiple children.

I have no idea why you’re talking about artificial insemination, as we’re discussing IVF and porn and my opinion is they both deny the sanctity of human life.

The banning of porn in IVF clinics does nothing to reconcile what the IVF clinics are doing.

They’re lying to themselves to feel good about themselves. It’s a false good.

People who choose single embryo transfer often do so because it's LESS costly, as it doesn't involve so many expensive medications, cost of freezing, etc. Some also choose it precisely to avoid multiple embryos and their ultimate destruction.

And the article was about porn, and the objection that some have to its use in fertility clinics. I don’t see in the source material where Manning and Richie suggest ending IVF, only the use of porn - and porn is used in most clinics where sperm is collected, whether it's for IVF or artificial insemination. 

Your lack of logic and poor reading comprehension seem to be fueled by your investment in preconceived assumptions and prejudices. You don't want any sort of artificial intervention for infertility that enables people who dearly want a child to have one; and you don't even seem to appreciate techniques that don't kill embryos. It makes little sense to argue further with such narrow-mindedness.
