The FBI was roasted on X for choosing to depict the problem of organized retail crime with an image of two well dressed white women.
Yes, really.

“These are just some of the impacts Organized Retail Theft has on everyday Americans. Learn what the #FBI does to combat these crimes on the federal level to protect shoppers across the country.”
The image shows two well dressed middle class white women looking furtive, with one hiding a stolen handbag inside her coat.
Respondents noted that the typical demographic of organized retail thieves in big cities doesn’t correlate with the chosen image...
As ever, they got ratioed into oblivion.

In all fairness they could be shoplifting. The old style way not the smash and grab and fill the cart and run way. But the conceal merchandise and saunter about and then out the store.

I’ve noticed it on the Internet for a long time now. If the headline is something negative, like “Is your boss a tyrant?” or “Is your child a brat?” a photo of a snarling white boss or screaming white child is shown. When the headline is something positive or neutral, it’s always a person of color.
It almost seems like someone at the FBI must have thought this was funny...it is so out of touch with reality.
It’s just an intelligence community (including the FBI) attempt to frame a narrative.
Do they just throw out some BS they expect the public to swallow then never look at the replies?
It’s like the Army posting their new ad with all white men. The ratio was brutal. Does the Army even know?
Believing one’s own propaganda can be dangerous.
