Here is the big picture........ bert’s finding
Hamas attacked Israel at the direction of Iran. Israel and Saudi Arabia are in the process of coming closer together in compliance with the Abrams Accords. That situation is totally unacceptable to Iran. It must never happen. Iran decreed that Hamas must severely attack Israel to rouse the Arab street and the cowardly Europeans against the Saudi/Israeli closeness.
Then, finally, the UAE speaks reservedly proclaiming the Abram Accords will not only continue but prevail. That is a tremendous world historical deal
The Accords effectively joined the Arab States that matter into agreement that they would no longer throw money down the Gaza/Palestine rat hole. There was no Arab street rising. There is no European whining. There is no real support offered to Hamas. There are the Abrams accords.
Part of the secret deal is that once the IDF thoroughly obliterates Hamas and the radical Palestinians, the Arab states that matter in coalition can step in and take political and economic control of Palestine and Gaza.
The American role? Bystander. It’s a regional problem to be solved by those joined together to cure the Hamas cancer
I believe the solution has been determined before the Hamas invasion of October 7. There are several major players that are fed up with the running sore called Palestine.
There is already the structure in Place called the Abraham Accords. Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE will together create a governing commission for the Protectorate formed from lands called the West Bank and Gaza. America will have a role but it will not be dictatorial. No one knows exactly the future of the new entity except that it will be different.
It will take a long time, ten years at a minimum for the Protectorate to excise the cancerous elements and promote political and economic growth. Something along these lines is the future
