IMO, while anyone long right now is quite pleased I’m sure, be careful. Things are looking pretty frothy.
LT Treasuries are up, so it looks like the Fed is fueling this to some degree as well.
There is some chart resistance in the 435 area ST.
Next resistance would be around 439-440, the recent top on Feb 12.
I’ve raised by stops twice today, and am considering taking some profits here. Huge spikes like this often don’t continue forever.

QQQ skyrockets on NVDA earnings news
NIVIDA, along with the other top 7) are carrying the entire NDX. I can’t but feel this is a bubble that is going to burst at some point. But, I don’t feel like today is that day. LOL!
Given the disaster with Google’s Gemini project that was going viral yesterday, AI may yet suffer a setback causing stocks such as NIVIDA to settle back down to more reasonable stock prices. BTW, Pelosi has made millions in options over the past three months.
Riding the Q train can be fun if you have nerves of steel!
side note, Eccl. Watch this re vivek and see if you feel the same about him after this

Don’t hijack
Exactly! Let's stay on topic, which is the generation of free electricity.
My favorite invention is the electric-only generator.
You plug it into an outlet, which powers a motor, and that motor generates electricity.
You’re a modern Nikola Tesla.
If you want to discuss this in another thread, I would be happy to do so.
butt out
nah, I just know you like him and wanted you to see the similarities of him and odumbo
Gentlemen, you are in the wrong thread. Thanks!
I am moving this post from the “yesterday” thread ...
It seems like it should be here ....The question was
What is the qqq and ..
“why should people on this forum care”
Isn’t this an investment thread?
The qqq is ... Invesco QQQ Trust Series
see... has invesco right in the name ....
sqqq is a 3x short etf that tracks the QQQ
tqqq is a 3x long etf that tracks the Q
I bought tqqq at 55 yesterday ..sold at 58.90 this am
I straddled sqqq at 13.50 over 11.50 for .12 closed out at .30
do the math on that .....
I am taking the rest of the day off ....
maybe the rest of the month
I would love to learn more from other folks .. but few people seem interested in discussing things.... what is your strategy? What indicators do you follow? I am not being a smart alack ...I would really like to share.
Am I? I thought this was a thread about the Underpants Gnomes.
Steal low, sell high!
QQQ - Price When Posted - $436
QQQ - All Time High - $439
” what is your strategy?”
I make a couple of trades a year. I established a buy and hold growth/dividend portfolio years ago. Banks, Energy, Transportation. I included ETTGX for tech. NVDA is their #2 holding.
About 10 years ago I saw an article that grabbed my attention, did my research and put my entire IRA into ETN which was paying about 3.5% dividend.
I have posted the above several times in the past.
“Riding the Q train can be fun if you have nerves of steel!”
That’s if your a trader. If you’re a long term investor (5 or more years), just buy the Qs and go to sleep. You’re pretty much guaranteed to be ahead when you wake up.
The past 5 year it’s gone up 150%. Over the last ten years, 375%!!
Timing the market is a fool’s game.
LOL!
“butt out”
Are you going to command the devil to take me out?
