If you look at global temperature graphs over millions of years—you’ll notice that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was much higher during the age of dinosaurs. There were no ice ages.
Currently carbon dioxide levels are plunging to those levels last seen in snowball earth.
If you look at graphs of the relationship between global heating and cooling and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere over the last couple hundred thousand years—what you notice is that increases in temperature PRECEDE increases in carbon dioxide. The inverse is also true decreases in temperature precede decreases in carbon dioxide.
