I didn’t say it was me that does it, but I know hunters who do. I don’t even hunt the critters anymore. I feed them with my crops, they take money out of my pocket. You wouldn’t believe what a herd of 12-15 deer can do to the edge of a soybean field. Looks like a lawn mower came through there on the first three or four rows. I plant two acre food plots of clover and alfalfa, that brings them in and they’re spread out.
“what a herd of 12-15 deer can do to the edge of a soybean field”
O yes I would believe .... I would BELIEVE ....
Believe me .... I Believe
The way habitat and populations are changing and the fact that hunters no longer fill their tags for freezer meat...
everyone just wants a rack.
It’s getting crazy around here.
When I was younger, I would walk for hours deep into the woods , hunt for hours, stalking, sitting, waiting ...so I could drag a doe home.
Now I have 8 pointers grazing in the yard.
I just shoot them from the porch.
I try to wait till they are near the truck.
It does no good to raise the limit, allow hunting over bait ...
We need more hunters ... we need more young people, we need hunting education in every school.
