Tucker Carlson once again leaped to the defense of Russian President Vladimir Putin and claimed that anyone who thinks the brutal strongman was responsible for the untimely death of his main political opponent Alexie Navalny 'are idiots.'
Carlson, 54, was speaking with fellow former Fox News host Glenn Beck on the latter's BlazeTV network when he made his remarks.
'Navalny’s death during the Munich Security Conference, in the midst of disputes about aid to Ukraine, is definitely not beneficial for Russia. People who say Putin killed him are idiots,' Carlson said.

Speaking about having been asked to comment about Navalny's death by DailyMail.com on Friday, Carlson said: 'I don't know anything about Navalny. I didn't know that he died. I didn't know anything,' after which he laughed manically.
Carlson's most recent remarks are a fire cry from his statement in which he decried Navalny's treatment.
In an exclusive statement to DailyMail.com, Carlson said: 'It's horrifying what happened to Navalny. The whole thing is barbaric and awful. No decent person would defend it.'
In the wake of Carlson's comments to Beck, DailyMail.com has reached out to the host for further clarification as to what he felt was 'horrifying' about 'what happened to Navalny' and what was 'barbaric and awful' about it.
His death came just days after Carlson conducted a 'soft ball' interview with Putin in Moscow.

He went on to criticize the United States for not exercising its moral authority as the most powerful nation on earth for not doing that.
That's a far cry from conferring moral equivalence to Hamas and Israel, so you'll have to gin up another example of adjust your rhetoric accordingly.
I disagree. He absolutely puts a known terror organization and the country of Israel on equal footing. He says both are "sons" in this analogy, and he wants his "sons" to stop fighting (calls for a ceasefire).
IMHO, a more apt analogy would be if a father came home and saw his son (Israel) fighting with an unknown attacker (Hamas) in his own house. Would the father's obligation still be to stop the fighting and see what's wrong? Or would his obligation be to kick the living sh-t out of the intruder who is attacking his son?
I thought Tucker's analogy would be enough to convince rational people that Tucker sees Hamas and Israel as equals. I guess I was wrong.

It’s not hard to grasp. I do not like Trump. I used to. I voted for him twice. I will not do so again. I will most likely leave the space blank since I will not vote for Biden either.

Alexie Navalny was on the CIA payroll - look it up. The scuttle butt- (possibly not true) is that Ukraine took him out to help get new funding.

I just listened to that interview and this is a big lie. He didn’t jump to Putin’s defense.
All Tucker said was he has no idea what happened to Navalny which is the truth. He doesn’t, and neither does anyone else who claims they do unless they were there.
Neocons are convinced that the American way of life must be spread to both friendly and non-friendly countries and therefore are much quicker to pledge American lives to causes that are not important to the enrichment and security of America.
You seem to only see black and white, but there is nuance in geopolitics. I hope I have enlightened you as to how I see the world.
