Seems like you could drive down the road like a regular car. Lift off the ground like a hover craft, then fly forward like an airplane. Seems simple right? My question is, how do you maneuver the reverse order? Stop in the airplane mode, change to the hover craft mode, back into the car mode.

Byron Airport?
Just head west and you fly right into a wind farm on the Altamont Pass.
Luckily for the flyer, those windmills haven't turned in decades!

We are living in the future
I’ll tell you how I know
I read it in the paper
Fifteen years ago
We’re all driving rocket ships
And talking with our minds
And wearing turquoise jewelry
And standing in soup lines
We are standing in soup lines

Karklin’s experience brought about more testing and the design of a Faraday cage around the flight computers. But EMP is not a thing and a solar flare or high altitude nuke won't hurt anything or so I've been told.

the BlackFly weighs just 348 pounds.Gonna need a pilot's license for that. 254 pounds is the limit for poweed aircraft.

It has a weight exception:
“The BlackFly weighs 348 pounds but earns weight credits thanks to extra safety attributes, such as its parachute system and ability to land on water.”
