It is a Black Right. It is a remedy for inequality.
Black criminals have earned the right to resist arrest and to flee. This right can not be taken from then by shooting as they flee, using batons or billy clubs to subdue while resisting or endangering the officers making the arrest.
Since shop lifting is not a crime, being subdued while resisting is the real crime.
I sadly agree with your premise. After all wasn’t it Dr MLK who said “I dream of a future where my children are judged by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.” Or was it the other way around?
