The Somali sharp-snouted worm lizard isn’t the only elusive creature that’s made a comeback recently either – Attenborough’s long-beaked echidna came waddling back into view last year after 62 years out of sight. I'm thinkin': Deep-fried Somali Sharp-Snouted Worm Lizard, with a side-order of Long-Beaked Echidna à l'Orange.

Great. Just great! Now there another creature I have to watch out for in the garden.
Is there a bright side? Do bass or catfish have a special liking for these worms?

“It’s quite easy to look at this part of the world and think of conflict,” said Spicer. “There’s more to Somalia than that, including biodiversity.”
…f’n liberal. Anything with the word “diversity” attached = commie. And speaking of diversity, the US has had enough. Especially Somalians.

When I was deployed Mogadishu we were forced to fill sandbags to fortify areas around our tents. We found those things all the time!
