Is she a bird whisperer? When an unexpected 'visitor' wreaked havoc in a house late at night, one maid went beyond the call of duty to save the day.
A video shared by TikTok user Pakalupap1t00 on Thursday (Feb 15) showed his family ducking for cover as a bird flew around their flat.
While his dad "hid inside a room" and his mother, sister and brother screamed in fear, their domestic helper appeared to be unfazed.
"It's just a bird," she quipped as she tried to catch the bird.
After 'exploring' various areas of the flat, the bird took a 'toilet break'.
While the bird was resting in the bathroom, the maid then picked it up and set it free through the window.
When they thought the ordeal was over, they discovered that the bird had left a "farewell gift" for them - bird droppings at the main door.
Pakalupap1t00's video has since garnered over 29,000 views.
In the comments section, several netizens praised the domestic helper.
"She deserves a bonus," one of them said, while another added that she was "steady" for dealing with the pesky bird.
One netizen simply said: "I think the bird was also scared by the screaming."

Bats are worse....
City wimps.
The grocery store in the small town where I used to live would sometimes get a bird flying around inside. I’d offer to bring in a shotgun and take care of the problem, but for some reason they never seemed to think it was that important.
Good thing they didn’t call it “swine.”
I had a cat that would bring in live birds, rats, snakes, and bats into the house all the time, i didn’t run screaming and hide under the bed. What a bunch of panty waists.....
One of the most common superstitions around a bird flying into your house is that it is a sign of bad fortune or even a warning of an impending death. ..................
Time to turn in your Man Cards, if you ever had one.
Well, when they want to go out at night, and you close their window, they are not at all pleased.
After I began keeping his window open, we got along well.
They do seem to be happy to escape to the darkness.
During the Spanish Flu pandemic, kids made up rope-skipping rhyme:
I had a little bird
And her name was Enza
I opened up the window
And in fiew Enza
I have this problem at least once a year. I use a towel and release them outside. Not a big deal.
Wow. Next time I’m chasing a bear off I’ll have to keep an eye out for dangerous songbirds.
Maid To Order
It’s a pun.....
Gum?
You should be careful. Vampires might see an open window as in invitation to come in
Geez...give the maid a participation trophy.
Have had 3-4 instances of birds coming into house-—IN SUMMER
Front door open & they were following the light.
Learned to put porch light on-—
Get broom—TURN OFF ALL INSIDE LIGHTS—when hustle bird toward the porch light.
ONLY ones crazy were the dogs-—they tried to chase/catch it.
Maybe, but this was in western Oregon near Astoria. No vampires. Maybe he (or she) had visitors, but I never noticed them in a group, so I decided there was just one. He could easily have landed on my bed while I was sleeping or trying to go to sleep, but he just flew over me to his distant attic perch. Live and let live.
