I lived in Potomac as a child, until my father moved us to the N Atlanta suburbs in 1978 to start a new business.
They had had already freed me from the insane public schools 2 years before that.

Montgomery county MD? I grew up in Montgomery County (Forest Glen Road across from St. John's Church) in the 1930s and part of 1940s. My brother and I used to shoot rabbits and squirrels to eat with a .22 out of our second story bedroom window. Also in the church graveyard until the priest told my brother to stop it. Our then home is now a county park and I've been in Florida over fifty years. It was a different world then.
