And if you're a Bible geek, know that the Minoan Warm Period almost exactly corresponds to the Era of Judges, the Greek Dark Age cooling period is the Era of Kings, and the Roman Warm Period occurred during the time of Christ. If you love American history then know that the colonial period and establishment of the U.S. was during the Little Ice Age, with the Modern Warm Period starting at about the same time that the Second Great Awakening won the argument over slavery.
And to your point, the warm periods are the better times because they have higher crop yields, more predictable rain patterns, and less deaths by plague. The cold periods were when most peoples were the most violent towards each other, taking over each others lands and enslaving each other to work the land harder to get more crop yield from horrible farming conditions. The Dim cult that tells us to forever be condemned over slavery and land takeover is the same Dim cult that is at war with the two main things that got rid of those evils: Christianity and global warming.
