The NRSC would do far better to focus their meager (compared to Democrats) resources on realistic races in Montana and Ohio than ridiculous pipe dreams like this.
New Mexico is nowhere near the top 5 GOP pickup opportunities and maybe not even in the top 10.

Daughter of Pete Domenici, longtime Senator. Don’t know anything about her. His cousin Charlie ran a fantastic fishing and hunting store for many years. Covid lockdowns, and Cabela’s coming to town killed it off, but he worked there until in his 80’s.
Heinrich only hangs on by pandering to liberal BS. He moved his whole family to Maryland for years and only showed up during election years in NM. Got his start as a hippie working on one of Ted Turners ranches out here. Classic NM carpetbagger like Bill Richardson.
