In fact, I don’t want to be dropped. I’ve served on two juries (one criminal, one civil) ... it was interesting and enlightening. I think it’s very important that intelligent patriots get on juries; they’re our last best hope to prevent government overreach.

I've only been called once. But when I told them my wife worked as a dispatcher for the Police, the lawyer for the defendant (I assume) didn't want me. Oh well, I would have been impartial. But I can see I was rejected.

But there are ways to avoid getting picked.

I agree with you though, it's a responsibility that we should all take for our communities, if you can honestly be impartial until you have heard all of the evidence presented in court.
