Ion Pacepa claimed the Romanians did it ...
The whole lot: Romanian, Cuban, Polish, East German, etc. were subordinate to the KGB. The "peacenik/disarmament" leftist crowd in America were also subordinate to and funded by the KGB.

Yeah I’ve read that. DGI is still the most plausible. Cuba had the motive and easier reach through the US Leftist community.

I've NEVER read nor posted to the insane RUSSIA V UKRAINE threads, so I have no idea what either side of this, here, on FR, has called the other. And I really don't care about that! Both sides are wrong and so are the silly name calling.
Calling one nation's people NAZIS, in 2023/'24 is both uneducated and STUPID; however, it is not the same as calling everyone living in one nation, of those descended from people of that nation, but Americans who are American citizens: "not humans" are two very different things! Sadly, for some reason, you are unable to see that.
You could lump one nation's people one thing or another, such as vile, ignorant, even savage, but denying that they are humans is factually incorrect and frankly, stupid!
Oh you are free to add any nonsense to your tagline, but you just keep on making yourself look silly by both of these statements.
You may like and dislike whatever/whomever is your wont... it is your pleasure; however, by making inaccurate/false statements, reflects badly on you. But then, obviously, you don't care one whit, what others then think of you and your puerile opinions.

(Ruzzians aren't people. And Boise, Idaho is a world-class major city! "any nonsense")
To: 1Old Pro
You're right.
In that particular "K & A" area of Philadelphia (at a major "Frankford El" stop), there is a large, overlapping mixture of mentally ill, homeless, drug addicts, drug pushers, prostitutes, etc. It is my understanding that all those people you see just standing there, bent over forward, face pointing to the ground, are heroin addicts who just got their "fix".
It is really a horrendous, pitiful sight.

If William F. Buckley was still alive, he’d urge National Review to either fold its tent, or merge with another leftist rag.

LOL.......wanna see "butthurt"?
Go look into the nearest mirror. Pity that....NOT!

So that's what the ubiquitous "globohomo" means? I was thinking globo means "balloon" in Spanish and homo means "human being" in Latin...so "balloon people"?
To: lodi90
Based on Carlson's comment, I suppose the appropriate comparison is Moscow vs. Washington DC.
While DC has some impressive architectural ideas and sites, at the moment it's essentially a lawless s#ithole.

Well Boise is in that category in only ONE way, they have know accepted extreme DEI required classes in they colleges and universities. But other than that, Boise is hardly a major city, let alone a world class one.
Sad, so sad...now go back to your delusional day dreams.

My current points of reference are: Dallas, Fort Worthless, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Fort Smith, Fayetville corridor. All but the last one are competing with dumps. Their roads and streets are a hodge podge of new, old and decrepit.
San Francisco, LA, Chicago, NY, Atlanta, Memphis, Kansas City, St. Louis, Denver etc. Show me the good part.

Living fewer than 300 miles from Boise and the Treasure Valley it just seems like an ordinary place to me. Not sure what all the excitement is about. The proximately to great skiing is notable, though.

“Look at footage from American cities in the 30s or 40s or 50s. You saw none of that. People were dressed nicely. There was little crime. The cities were clean.”

I felt more at home in Warsaw than I did any American city.
I will say, Poland has all the positives that Russia may have, without the negatives.
