He’s a clown. He has a lot of agriculture and Mexicans in his district.
He opposes restricting immigration in several insidious ways.
The only unknown here is his price.
He’s doubling down on stupid
There’s no doubt Mayorkass is breaking laws and is actually engaged staging an invasion
That isn’t even close to the idiotic crap they impeached Trump over - it’s real crime, not political claptrap
Translation: “I used to be a conservative but now I’m a moderate, however the filing deadline has passed and I have no Republican primary opponent this year. So nyah nyah nyah, you conservative assholes.”
He gives excuses, not reasons.
Reason is, he lacks the guts to do what needs to be done. Start holding individuals accountable, not “the Administration”.
Chop off some heads, the rest will fold.
That said, Real Traditional Republicans don't need to be saved from themselves for daring to try to secure our borders.
Mister McClintock voted with over 200 Dems (who are presumably laughing at him at this moment.)
"Weakness" and "appeasement" come to mind here as does "sniveling excuses".

I listened to this man. I didn’t want to, but I agree with him. Impeaching here is inappropriate and counterproductive.
He did have one thing completely wrong, the Biden’s aren’t part of an ‘influence peddling scheme’ or bribery. They had classified information, and that makes the bribery into ESPIONAGE.
Biden, and everyone in his family, and all those who were aware, committed ESPIONAGE or assistants. That is a huge problem, it’s a Constitutional problem, involves all of the Biden’s who profited, and goes right back to Barack Obama who KNEW about Joe Biden’s conflicts.

In a historical sense, what Mayorkas is doing is an extreme example of the kind of Misdemeanor being described in the Constitution, and a High Crime as well (human trafficking is the crime).
McClintock must have some big kick backs coming his way.
