Ranked ratings like this are flawed because they don’t distinguish between serious issues which affect the functionality or safety of the vehicle, and annoyance issues which don’t.

One of the biggest “problem areas” (49.1 problems per 100 vehicles) is infotainment systems, primarily problems with voice control and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity problems.

I wonder what the ratings would look like if this one area was deleted from the totals.

Yep. My Paciifica has an advanced high tech infotainment system. But my Allstate policy had an option to insure that. Boy, did I click that.
