Is your refridgerator running?
They will fix it for free, but you pay for shipping. /s
avoid french door fridges- they suck- ours isnt even a year old and the inside seal is already ripping because folks sometimes use the left door to open first, and it stresses the flap seal of the second door - wish we hadn’t bought this fridge-
I saw the headline and thought this was going to be about the crappy LG compressors. I don’t know if Frigidaire uses them or not.
Reminds me that my almost 70 year old Frigidaire needs defrosting.
The auger in the ice bucket self-destructs and the chunks come out via the dispenser. Don’t ask me how I know. PoS.
I didn’t know people still bought those old-fashioned side by side refrigerators. French door with freezer at bottom is way more practical. Especially for left over pizza in its box.
Here are three Commandments, for homeowners, learned from experience:
1. Thou shalt not buy any appliance from Home Depot.
2. Thou shalt not buy anything guaranteed by Asurion.
3. Thou shalt not buy any kitchen appliance made by Samsung.
Is it safe to assume that the Swedish parent company selling these refrigerators under a respected US trademark are having them manufactured in China?

I have a 15 or so year old Kenmore / Whirlpool side-by-side. The original ice bucket assembly had a plastic impeller to push the cubes into the chute for crushing / dispensing. As the years went by those plastic blades slowly deteriorated and broke off, resulting in chunks of plastic in my ice water. No recall that I know of. Instead of calling a lawyer I just bought a replacement assembly which now has a steel impeller. Cost me $150. I’m a chump, I guess.
