There was a transcript pretending to be such an interview, but I haven't seen it authenticated.
Before Reagan, China seemed like “Russia Jr”.
Now it seems like Russia is “China, Jr.”.
You go where the story is.
Rumors from Kremlin insider General SVR’s Telegram channel that Tucker was duped into interviewing one of Putin’s doubles.
If doubles were doable, Biden would be the first to have one.
Biden is a cadaver.
Spinning it for all they’re worth. Hook a generator up to it and you could power all of Moscow.
Tucker was set up by the Kremlin.
What is your basis for him being setup?
A rare man indeed, who lives in America and speaks the truth!
As one who grew up in the 1970s, the world has truly been turned upside down. We used to celebrate Russians who dared speak the truth in their own country.
I’ve seen that transcript and hopefully it’s not the real one, as it’s pretty blah. Hopefully there was a real interview and that it will be a bit more electrifying than that transcript I saw floating around out there.
Tucker may become a 21st century Walter Duranty if he’s not careful.
What an intriguing proposition, though, that Carlson was duped into a double. That would be hard to prove or disprove.
More like the 21st Century Malcolm Muggeridge and Gareth Hunt.
Telling the truth about what is going on in Russia and Ukraine.
Instead of creating and repeating Regime Media lies, like Duranty.

Dear subscribers and guests of the channel! During an interview given by a man resembling Russian President Vladimir Putin to American journalist Tucker Carlson, several interesting embarrassments occurred. The double, in the process of communicating with Carlson, at least twice revealed himself so clearly that only an idiot, which Tucker is not, could not have noticed. It is of interest whether these moments will be included in the edited version (if the interview is published at all), and if not, will the honest American journalist Carlson tell what he saw and heard personally?
“Lots of folk got their panties in a bunch over this. He’s a journalist for crying out loud - that’s what they do (or should be doing). You go where the story is.”
That’s true. The problem arises when the journalist becomes the story.
Moreover, there’s a difference between an objective reporter and a journalist. The former is supposed to be objective and dispassionate and non-judgmental, and seek only the facts; the latter is more of a storyteller, biases and all.
Both have their place; and both should be heard. But the journalist’s product especially should be taken with skepticism. Where journalism bests objective reporting is that journalism can be very entertaining (think: H.L. Mencken; Art Buchwald; Mike Royko, et als).
Let’s see what Carlson says.
He has to swim now in a new direction, he's no longer the same talking head.
I'm not sure this is a good direction for him . . . . or us . . . . but he's got a big pair and can communicate.
Go GET 'em, Tuck !
that’s Gareth Jones...
Interview to be posted to Twitter and TuckerCarlson.com soon per Tucker.
