Is anyone watching this show? If so, is anyone else noticing all the singers are lip syncing the songs tonight. I haven't watched AGT in yrs and I happened to see it. I swear they are not really singing live, I'm a semi-trained lip reader as I've had impairment a child. None of the singers matched their songs good enough to hide the lip syncing...
I've never noticed this before on any of the current talent shows. Does anyone else notice it?
My point is that musical entertainment has devolved into the inauthentic.
Reruns of My Mother The Car and Mr Ed are of higher artistic value than that garbage.
Don’t have TV but have watched Fil from Wings of Pegasus do reaction/analysis videos of various singers/bands and auto-tuning seems to be prevalent amongst today’s performers. I wouldn’t be surprised about lip-synching going on.
They lip synched on Solid Gold circa 1983 and that had far more entertainment value. And Marilyn McCoo was one of my TV crushes back then as well, lol.
I don’t watch TV. I watch videos on Rumble and YT about a hobby but nothing else.
I saw that country music trio of African American women.
Are they gunning for a Ford advertising offer?
What network is it streaming on? Please don’t say Netflix. We are canceling that once we are done with the movies we have started there.
A while back, some judges suspected a singer of lip syncing. So, they stopped the accompaniment and asked her to sing a’ Capella. She completed the song pitch-perfect and in time; and won them all over.
“...anyone watching ‘America’s Got Talent’ tonight” ?
seriousfknly?
Were all the judges crying??
“the non performing on screen personalities”
There’s talent in the guest performers but I can’t stand the presenters. Obviously, though, millions like the show.
The show producers are selling viewers to advertisers for money. Like all other television shows, it's fake.
Singing at "live" shows have even been faked - for decades. Many bands openly admit it.
“Since shows are recorded previously, is it possible they are playing two digital tracks, namely the video, and the audio in an unsynched manner? Were the non performing on screen personalities also looking as if they were lip syncing?”
Having been in the music business all my life the move to digital conversion was not very friendly to audio at all. Far too much over-engineering and too many variables that can cause unnecessary latency. Much of it is caused by different transmission formats. Cable, Air, Satellite, Etc. Even right at the microphone certain frequencies can cause latency when other frequencies do not. Digital actually sucks for the music industry, but everyone has adopted it and there is no going back now.
That’s was wild.
No. Really TV rots the brain.
*reality* see what I mean! :D
I’m shocked…. shocked, I tell you…
Nope, I don't have tie to totally waste. As far as not singing, it's common these days as America's got little talent - it's against the rules to flaunt talent. t's racist.
It was and still is wonderful.
