The reported appearance of former Fox News host Tucker Carlson in the Russian capital has sparked intense speculation over the purpose of the conservative media personality's visit to Moscow.
Carlson arrived in Moscow on February 1, and was spotted attending the Bolshoi Theater in the capital, according to Russian outlet Mash.
Questions quickly swirled over why the TV anchor would have traveled to Moscow, and whether he intended to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin during the visit.

I remember when all the news outlets were saying back in the very beginning of the Russia/Ukraine war that Putin was dying and had gone mad. He was doing a last ditch effort to bring back the Soviet Union.
Now it is what, 2 years later and not a mention of this so called ‘news’ and Putin is still around, the story, not so much.
There is so much propaganda out there. Or speculation, I don’t know what you would call it but it’s wise never to jump on a news story that is so speculative. It’s often just bunk.
Or as they used to say, ‘the bunk’.

I have no dog in this Ukraine/Russia war. There are no good guys here.
Carlson lost me when he associated with the Hell’s Angels. The Hell’s Angels is a brutal, drug-running organization, responsible for so much misery.
I simply cannot understand Carlson’s thinking here. It colors my entire opinion of him.

The reason is obvious
Would not put it past the Biden cabal to plant some phoney evidence that Tucker is a CIA spy and then gleefully watch the Russians arrest him.
Riven, Russians aren’t just like other folks who want their government to fill the potholes. From the advent of the Romanovs until now the spirit of Russia has been viciously crushed. This is what makes them jealous as a country and gives them a national inferiority complex that has made the country aggressive, to the grievous sorrow of their neighbors for centuries. It also allows them to tolerate the use of a Russia’s sons as cannon fodder. It cost them millions of lives during the world wars.
That said, Russia’s always pretended to be a civilized country, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Putin has agreed to an interview. I think I agree that Tucker has not been pro-Ukraine, but I don’t see him just tossing softballs at Putin, if an interview is while he’s there. It’s not illegal to go there, Wilderness, so it’s not a matter of “allowing” him to go. I just don’t see a downside, so let’s see what happens

Why? He’s there to do what he’s always done, interview people. Interviewing Putin is a great accomplishment.
