there is no mention of Freemasonry in the founding documents.

Freemasons had some power for a time because their members tended to be powerful people. But that all ended more than 70 years ago. Powerful people do not join the freemasons or the elks club or any what have you.

Of course there is no mention. But their icinigraphy is everywhere . plus most of the were free masons.Their wroting is iun the style of freemasonary.
